Andre' - He is a 2 year old, neutered, Russian Blue (gray) male cat with a sweet disposition, albeit very timid. If you are looking to make a difference in someone's life, Andre' is your guy. Although he is a sweetheart, he needs work with socialization.
He came from a Culpeper neighborhood with his bestest friend, Olivia Sue (Olivia Sue passed away in late October)). They showed up in a nice lady's yard one day and she fed them for about a year before contacting us when fox took over her yard. Andre' and Olivia Sue were absolute best friends. Now that Olivia has passed, Andre looks for her everywhere, apparently not realizing that she is gone.
He gets along with the other cats and doesn't seem to mind my 2 labs very much. He is a calm cat who enjoys affection and will often rub against your legs affectionately; however, he still seems frightened to be touched. That being said, Andre' has been living with my family and is very respectful of furniture, is good in the litter box, is mannerly, and is everything you would want a cat to be. He is just very shy. I believe that once he is in a quiet home of his own, with a kind and patient person, he would blossom.
The perfect home for Andre' would be a quiet home with no children. Andre' is up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and comes with a free wellness exam.
